The masterpiece was snapped up on Monday (December 13) within hours of release by a German buyer, called Peter Esser, who forked out an astonishing £20,000 for the painting - smashing the record of £14,400 previously set by a chimp called Congo at a Bonham's auction in 2005. Pigcasso's painting, entitled Wild and Free, is a huge canvas featuring blue, green and white acrylic strokes, which took several weeks to complete. Un porc pe nume Pigcasso a devenit celebru după ce a pictat un tablou care s-a vândut cu 20 000 de lire sterline.
Tabloul, denumit „Wild and free”, a fost cumpărat de colecţionarul german Peter Esser, la câteva ore după ce a fost scos la vânzare, informează Digi24.
Acesta doboară recordul de 14.000 de lire sterline, pentru o operă de artă creată de un animal, stabilit de cimpanzeul Congo. Pigcasso a fost salvat de la sacrificare când era un purceluş şi a creat 400 de lucrări de artă, potrivit DailyMail.
Pictura este o pânză mare, cu dungi albastre, verzi şi albe, și a fost realizată în câteva săptămâni de Pigcasso, purcelul talentat.
Pigcasso a fost salvat de la sacrificare în urmă cu cinci ani, când era un purceluș, și a creat până acum peste 400 de lucrări de artă.
