Una dintre cele mai importante eclipse ale anului 2021 şi, totodată, cea mai puternică Lună plină din acest an s-a produs miercuri noapte: Superluna Sângerie. Luna plină a apărut mai mare decât de obicei, deoarece s-a aflat la perigeu (cea mai apropiată distanţă de Pământ).
Nu este ceva magic, ci doar astronomic: este o eclipsă totală de lună, aceasta „îmbrăcându-se” într-o culoare roşu-portocalie, ce aminteşte de culoare sângelui, de unde şi denumirea.
Totuşi, eclipsa nu a putut fi urmărită la noi în ţară, spectacolul dat de satelului natural al Terrei a apărut pe cerul Americii de Nord şi de Sud, estul Asiei şi Australiei.

Fenomene astronomice vizibile din România
Singurul fenomen astronomic notabil vizibil din România va fi eclipsa inelară de Soare ce va avea loc 10 iunie 2021, potrivit Observatorului Astronomic al Muzeului “Vasile Pârvan” Bârlad, citat de Mediafax.
În România, eclipsa va fi una parţială de Soare, cu o acoperire foarte mică. Fenomenul va fi cel mai bine vizibil în partea de nord a ţării.
Ce eclipse urmează
10 iunie 2021 – eclipsă inelară de Soare – în nordul extrem, Canada, Groenlanda şi Oceanul Arctic;. din România va fi vizibilă o eclipsă parţială de Soare cu o acoperire mică
19 noiembrie 2021 – eclipsă parţială de Lună – vizibilă din America de Nord, nord-vestul Europei şi Africii, Asia, Australia şi Oceanul Pacific
4 decembrie 2021 – eclipsă totală de Soare – totală în Antarctica şi în sudul oceanului Atlantic; în Africa de Sud va fi vizibilă o eclipsă parţială de Soare.
